Airports Safety Management System Manager

The City of Fresno is seeking an experienced and motivated Airports Safety Management System Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to develop and implement safety management systems at our city’s airports. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our safety team and other city departments to ensure the highest standards of safety for our airports and the community.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety. They should be organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. A Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Safety, or a related field is preferred. An FAA Airfield Management Certificate or equivalent is also highly desired. The successful candidate must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to comply with the City of Fresno’s Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.
