- Develop and maintain data models and algorithms to identify patterns and trends within the data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the needs and goals of different departments and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
- Communicate complex data findings and insights in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in data science to continuously improve data analysis processes.
- Identify and recommend new data sources and tools to enhance data collection and analysis.
- Work closely with city officials and leaders to understand their data needs and provide data-driven recommendations for decision making.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing and maintaining data governance policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of city-wide initiatives and projects by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Or Data Science.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Data Science Or Analytics Role, Preferably In A Government Or Municipal Setting.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql, As Well As Data Visualization Tools Like Tableau Or Power Bi.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Extract Insights And Make Data-Driven Recommendations.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Data To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
