Where we come from
Hey there,
I'm Nathan Candaner, one of the co-founders of JobzMall. People often ask me why we built JobzMall. They've never seen anything quite like it before, so they're curious where the idea came from.
The truth is, JobzMall was born out of the very real struggles and frustrations with everyday job finding. The whole process is broken - constantly re-uploading resumes, relying solely on past experience and not future potential, limited networking opportunities, and job boards full of dead links. It is a frustrating and disheartening experience.
As someone who grew up between Europe and the US, I also personally felt there was no good way to express who I was authentically. There wasn't a medium for me to genuinely share my story. The job search process lacked a human touch.
That was the foundation of JobzMall. Over the years, we've been fortunate to work and grow with a team of equally passionate, ethical, and hardworking individuals. Across contitents, diverse backgrounds, different expertise, but shared values and vision. Together, we've built the largest video talent marketplace in the world, giving everyone a platform to be seen, heard, and tell their story.
JobzMall defined a category and continues to constantly push that category forward in innovative ways. We feel a deep sense of responsibility to continue making the best platform we can for professionals who desperately seek a better way to connect. Without ego, without BS.
