
Technical Support Specialist
The City of St. Louis is looking for a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our Systems Support team. As the Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first line of contact for all our customers’ technical needs, providing exceptional service and support. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and onsite visits, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Document customer inquiries, solutions, and any other relevant information in the customer database.
- Monitor and maintain the system performance and availability.
- Keep up to date with technology developments, best practices, and industry standards.
- Train customers on the use of hardware and software.
- Research and recommend solutions to technical issues.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team on projects and initiatives.
- Stay informed of changes and developments in the field of technology.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service and technical support processes.
