Job Description

Covenant Health Care is looking for a compassionate and driven Medical Renal - Nursing Care Assistant to join our team and provide dedicated care to our patients. As a Medical Renal - Nursing Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of the health care team, providing comprehensive care to patients with renal conditions. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of care to ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate for this role must have a passion for providing exceptional patient care as well as a strong commitment to upholding the mission and values of Covenant Health Care. Required Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent• Current CNA license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing• Basic computer skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to take direction and work independently• Commitment to providing quality patient care• Ability to follow established policies and procedures• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, mobility, and other tasks as needed.

• Monitor and document patient vital signs, such as body temperature, weight, and blood pressure.

• Administer oral medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.

• Assist physicians and registered nurses during examinations and treatments.

• Collect and record patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.

• Answer patient questions and provide emotional support as needed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
