Job Description

Welcome to Delta Air Lines, one of the world's leading airlines. We are currently seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Crew Scheduler. As a Crew Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our flights by coordinating and scheduling our crew members. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple tasks, and has excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about the aviation industry and have a strong understanding of crew scheduling, we would love to have you on board.

  1. Coordinate and schedule crew members for Delta Air Lines flights according to company policies and regulations.
  2. Ensure all flights have the appropriate number of crew members and that schedules are optimized for efficiency.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date crew schedules, including any changes or adjustments.
  4. Communicate with crew members to confirm and update their schedules, as well as provide necessary information and instructions.
  5. Monitor crew availability and manage any conflicts or issues that may arise.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
  7. Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and regulations related to crew scheduling.
  8. Utilize scheduling software and tools to create and manage crew schedules effectively.
  9. Analyze and report on crew scheduling data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
  10. Train and onboard new crew members on scheduling procedures and protocols.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in crew scheduling to continuously improve processes.
  12. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while interacting with crew members, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  13. Handle any urgent or last-minute scheduling changes with a sense of urgency and efficiency.
  14. Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols related to crew scheduling.
  15. Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to ensure maximum cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
