As a Flight Simulator Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our flight simulators, critical training tools for our pilots. This is a hands-on position that requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in electronics and computer systems.   1. Maintaining and troubleshooting flight simulators to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  2. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance on flight simulators to ensure they are functioning properly.
  3. Diagnosing and repairing technical issues with flight simulators, including electronic and computer systems.
  4. Updating and upgrading flight simulator software and hardware as needed.
  5. Collaborating with other technicians and team members to develop and implement improved maintenance procedures.
  6. Following all safety protocols and procedures while working on flight simulators.
  7. Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed on flight simulators.
  8. Communicating any issues or concerns with flight simulators to management in a timely manner.
  9. Assisting with the training and development of new Flight Simulator Technicians.
  10. Staying up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in flight simulator technology.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Aviation Technology: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Aviation Technology And Be Familiar With The Various Components And Systems Of Aircraft.

  • Technical Expertise In Flight Simulator Maintenance And Troubleshooting: The Candidate Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Flight Simulator Systems And Be Able To Perform Routine Maintenance, As Well As Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues.

  • Familiarity With Faa Regulations: Delta Air Lines Operates Under Strict Federal Aviation Administration (Faa) Regulations. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Working Knowledge Of These Regulations And Be Able To Ensure Compliance In All Flight Simulator Operations.

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Flight Simulator Technician, The Candidate Will Work Closely With Other Technicians And Pilots. Good Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Well In A Team Are Essential For This Role.
