
General Manager, Information Security Governance and Compliance

As the General Manager, you will lead a team of experts in developing and implementing effective governance and compliance strategies, while staying up-to-date on industry standards and regulations. - Develop and implement effective governance and compliance strategies to ensure the security and protection of Delta Air Lines' information systems and data.
- Lead and manage a team of experts to execute information security governance and compliance initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and regulations, and continuously assess and improve Delta Air Lines' information security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in information systems and develop mitigation plans.
- Create and maintain a culture of security and compliance within the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of information security policies and procedures.
- Oversee the development and implementation of security awareness training for employees, contractors, and third-party vendors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of information security governance and compliance initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing new technologies, processes, and best practices to enhance the security and compliance of Delta Air Lines' information systems.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the information security team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Information Security Governance And Compliance, Preferably In The Aviation Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 27001, Nist, And Gdpr.
Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Information Security Policies, Procedures, And Controls.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
