Assists the Capital Markets Team with liability management strategies including debt issuance, refinancing, and restructuring. Works with investment banks and international commercial banks to structure, document, and administer long-term debt agreements. Identifies and implements aircraft financing strategies and opportunities. Prepares interest expense plan, forecast updates and variance explanations. Executes share buybacks and closes aircraft and financing transactions. Coordinates Capital Markets activities with Financial Planning, Financial Reporting and Investor Relations. Contributes to overall treasury expense initiatives to minimize annual debt service costs given corporate liquidity requirements.
