Production Chemist

Responsible for the design and implementation of chemical processes, instrumentation and equipment to ensure effectiveness in process engineering and design to bring manufacturing/production efforts to scale with maximum efficiency and productivity. Prepare chemical solutions, perform QIPs, and conduct bench testing. Conduct material requisition, transaction and inventory count using MRP systems, if necessary. Generate and revise procedures. Ensure safety. Ensure compliance to safety regulations to OSHA, etc. Ensure compliance to regulations to FDA, ISO, etc. Devises new equipment, and develops formulas, processes, and methods for solution of technical problems. Confers with scientists and engineers regarding research and prepares technical reports and data summaries. Prepares specifications for processes, facilities, products, and tests. Conducts experimentation on manufactured products to improve, optimize, and scale-up processes and products.
