Merchandising Assistant

At Dillard’s, we are looking for a passionate and driven Merchandising Assistant to join our team and help to create a superior customer experience in our store. We are looking for a creative and organized individual to support the merchandising team in all aspects of the product lifecycle, from product selection and development to in-store presentation and visual displays. The ideal candidate will have experience in merchandising and a strong understanding of the retail landscape, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the merchandising team to develop product selection and create effective visual displays
• Actively research and monitor trends in the retail landscape
• Collaborate with store staff to ensure that the customer experience in the store is superior
• Develop and track metrics to measure the success of product selection, presentation, and visual displays
• Create and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure product availability and quality
• Ensure that all merchandising activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of POS systems and other technology related to merchandising
