  1. Greet and welcome clients to the salon in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Assist clients in scheduling appointments and provide information about salon services.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized salon environment.
  4. Work closely with stylists and other salon staff to ensure efficient operation of the salon.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns.
  6. Perform salon services such as washing and conditioning hair, applying hair treatments, and styling hair.
  7. Keep up-to-date with current beauty trends and techniques to provide high-quality services to clients.
  8. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  9. Promote salon products and services to clients.
  10. Ensure compliance with all salon policies and procedures.
  11. Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
  12. Handle client complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  13. Maintain client records and update them as needed.
  14. Assist with salon marketing efforts to attract new clients.
  15. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  16. Collaborate with team members to create a positive and enjoyable work environment.
  17. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and goals.
  18. Represent the salon in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Customer Service Skills: A Salon Associate At Dillard's Must Have Strong Customer Service Skills To Interact With Clients, Listen To Their Needs, And Provide Them With A Positive Experience.

  • Cosmetology License: A Valid Cosmetology License Is Required For A Salon Associate Position At Dillard's. This Ensures That The Associate Has The Necessary Technical Skills And Knowledge To Perform Salon Services.

  • Sales Experience: Dillard's Is A Retail Store, And A Salon Associate Is Expected To Not Only Provide Salon Services But Also Sell Salon Products. Therefore, Having Previous Sales Experience Is A Must For This Role.

  • Team Player: A Salon Associate At Dillard's Must Be Able To Work Well With Others And Be A Team Player. This Includes Collaborating With Other Salon Associates, As Well As Working With Other Dillard's Sales Associates To Cross-Sell Products And Services.

  • Time Management Skills: The Salon Can Get Busy, And A Salon Associate Must Be Able To Manage Their Time Effectively To Ensure All Clients Are Served In A Timely Manner. Good Time Management Skills Are Crucial For Success In This Role.
