  1. Provide leadership and support to the store team to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer service.
  2. Ensure all store operations and procedures are executed effectively and efficiently.
  3. Train and develop store team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  5. Collaborate with the buying team to ensure merchandise is properly displayed and promoted.
  6. Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas of opportunity and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Create and implement strategies to increase store traffic and drive sales.
  8. Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations for store team members and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  10. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  12. Stay current on industry trends and competitors' activities to make recommendations for improvement.
  13. Assist with scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage during peak business hours.
  14. Manage and track store expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve store operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Management Experience: A Successful Store Management Associate At Dillard's Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Retail Management Role, Preferably In A Similar Department Store Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Store Management Associate, You Will Be Responsible For Supervising And Leading A Team Of Sales Associates. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Delegate Tasks And Provide Guidance Are Essential.

  • Excellent Customer Service Abilities: Dillard's Prides Itself On Providing Exceptional Customer Service, And A Store Management Associate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Ensure Customer Satisfaction.

  • Financial Management Skills: A Store Management Associate Should Have Experience With Budgeting, Inventory Management, And Sales Forecasting. They Should Also Be Able To Analyze Sales Data And Develop Strategies To Increase Profitability.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: The Retail Industry Is Fast-Paced And Constantly Changing, So A Store Management Associate Should Be Able To Adapt To New Situations Quickly And Work Well Under Pressure. This Role Also Requires Flexibility In Scheduling, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays.
