Job Description

As a Category Analyst, you will be the primary point person responsible for Category and Shopper Data within Disney Publishing Worldwide. You will report to the team's Senior Manager and partner with a wide cross-functional team - including sales, marketing, publicity, and editorial teams - to help make informed decision for the business. Create and maintain format related reporting for ebooks and audiobooks. Work with several different databases and data platforms. Become the expert on existing product hierarchies, working with vendors and company partners to align hierarchies together. Provide Ad-Hoc requests against tight turnaround times. Assist Insights/Finance/Sales teams with annual budgeting and forecasting.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience in a consumer products company or retail experience

  • Publishing-Industry knowledge and familiarity with NPD Bookscan

  • At least 1 year of professional experience in data analytics, forecasting and/or planning

  • Experience with data visualization/BI tools (Microstrategy, Tableau, PowerBI) and syndicated third-party data sources
