Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and implement solutions.
Maintain and optimize existing data platforms to ensure high performance and reliability.
Identify and troubleshoot data-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
Develop and implement data quality and data governance processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data management and integration.
Mentor and guide junior data engineers in best practices and techniques.
Work closely with data scientists to support their analytical and modeling needs.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processes.
Create and maintain technical documentation for data platforms and processes.
Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
Continuously monitor and improve data platform reliability and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to codebase improvements.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience With Data Platform Development: A Sr. Data Platform Engineer At Docusign Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Data Platform Development, Including Data Modeling, Etl Processes, Data Warehousing, And Data Visualization.
Strong Programming Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As Python, Java, Or Scala. They Should Also Have Experience With Big Data Frameworks Like Hadoop, Spark, And Kafka.
