  1. Perform a variety of cardiology procedures, such as EKGs, stress tests, and Holter monitoring, accurately and efficiently.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  3. Monitor patients during procedures, making note of any changes in vital signs or symptoms.
  4. Record and analyze test results, including interpreting EKG readings and identifying abnormalities.
  5. Maintain and operate cardiology equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
  6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide patient care.
  7. Educate patients on cardiovascular health and steps they can take to improve their condition.
  8. Follow strict safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
  9. Keep accurate records of patient procedures and progress.
  10. Continuously stay updated on advancements and changes in cardiology procedures and treatments.
  11. Assist in the training of new cardiology technicians and provide guidance and support when needed.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide a positive and welcoming experience.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance patient care.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Certified Cardiographic Technician (Cct) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs) Credential.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Cardiology Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Specialized Diagnostic Equipment, Such As Ekg Machines, Stress Tests, And Echocardiograms.

  • Strong Understanding Of Cardiovascular Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Common Heart Conditions And Treatments.
