Clinical Dietitian-Integrative Medicine Outpatient at Duke University Health System is a rewarding role for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about providing evidence-based nutrition support for patients with chronic health conditions. The position requires a Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and experience in clinical nutrition, integrative medicine, and outpatient nutrition counseling. We seek an individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other members of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities:
• Assess patients’ nutritional needs and provide evidence-based nutrition advice and care to promote health and wellbeing • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet patients’ health goals • Monitor and evaluate patients’ progress and provide ongoing support and guidance • Educate patients about nutrition and lifestyle changes to improve their overall health and quality of life • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Document patient nutrition visits and provide timely follow-up to ensure patient safety • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and nutrition trends to ensure evidence-based practice • Maintain professional standards and ethical practice guidelines • Participate in research projects and other initiatives to advance the field of integrative medicine nutrition
