- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy to patients with mental health concerns, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and their families, connecting them with appropriate community resources and support services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with departmental and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases and provide clinical insights and recommendations.
- Stay current on best practices and new developments in the field of behavioral health, integrating this knowledge into clinical work.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and promote a holistic approach to patient treatment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
A Master's Degree In Social Work From An Accredited University, With A Focus On Clinical Practice And Behavioral Health.
A Current License To Practice As A Clinical Social Worker In The State Of North Carolina.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Providing Direct Clinical Services In A Behavioral Health Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices For Treating Mental Health And Substance Use Disorders, As Well As Experience Working With Diverse Populations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Build Therapeutic Relationships With Clients.
