- Provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department.
- Assist medical staff with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for use in patient care.
- Assist with patient transportation and transfers within the emergency department.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills.
- Keep accurate records of patient care and procedures performed.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Proactively identify and address potential hazards or safety concerns in the emergency department.
- Assist in the implementation of emergency protocols and procedures.
- Continuously assess and monitor patients for changes in condition and report to medical staff as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills.
Current Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Or Paramedic.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In An Emergency Department Or Similar Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Emergency Medical Procedures And Protocols.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment While Maintaining Composure And Professionalism.
