
Hyperbaric Chamber Specialist
Duke University Health System is currently looking for an experienced and compassionate Hyperbaric Chamber Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient care and safety while utilizing the hyperbaric chamber and its associated equipment for therapeutic treatments. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is looking to join a dynamic and collaborative team of healthcare professionals.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting, plus completion of a hyperbaric chamber operations course. You will also possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. You should be able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and its applications. Lastly, you must have a valid CPR certification and current certification in hyperbaric operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care and safety while in the hyperbaric chamber and its associated equipment.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and its applications.
- Ensure the safety of patients and staff while in the hyperbaric chamber and its associated equipment.
- Ensure that all hyperbaric chamber operations are performed according to set protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the hyperbaric chamber and its associated equipment.
- Maintain a valid CPR certification and current certification in hyperbaric operations.
Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment

Registered Nurse
Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Or Equivalent
Completion Of A Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Course
