Job Description

Duke University Health System is looking for a motivated and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team. As an Information Security Analyst, you will work to protect the security and privacy of our data by developing and managing security controls to detect, prevent, and respond to threats. To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical knowledge and proven experience in managing security systems, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage security controls to protect the security and privacy of Duke University Health System's data.
  2. Monitor and analyze security threats and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
  3. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and patch management to ensure the security of systems and networks.
  4. Implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  5. Train and educate staff on best practices related to security and privacy.
  6. Work with stakeholders to create and update security plans and processes.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest information security trends and technologies.
  8. Create reports and provide recommendations for security improvements.
  9. Investigate security breaches and other incidents to determine root cause and suggest corrective action.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure secure data sharing.

Job Qualifications
