  1. Provide exceptional care to patients by creating personalized treatment plans and implementing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy: Candidates Should Hold A Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Therapy Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.

  • State Licensure: Applicants Must Hold A Current And Valid State License To Practice As An Occupational Therapist In The State Of North Carolina, Or Be Eligible For Licensure.

  • Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Duke University Health System Prefers Candidates With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As An Occupational Therapist In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Specialized Training And Certifications: Additional Training And Certifications In Specialized Areas Such As Hand Therapy, Pediatrics, Or Geriatrics May Be Preferred For Certain Positions Within The Health System.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Occupational Therapists At Duke University Health System Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Caregivers, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
