Occupational Therapist - Outpatient Rehab

Duke University Health System seeks an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to join our Outpatient Rehab team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care, has a commitment to our core values and mission, and who can collaborate with our team to deliver the best possible care to our patients.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, as well as a current Occupational Therapy license in the state of North Carolina. We are looking for an individual with at least two years of experience in an outpatient rehab setting working with adults and/or children with varying diagnoses. The successful candidate should also have strong organizational skills and be knowledgeable in evidence-based practice, as well as have experience with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting • Develop treatment plans, goals, and interventions based on patient needs • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the importance of occupational therapy and how it can help them • Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure the best possible care for each patient • Utilize evidence-based practice when delivering care • Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Adhere to all Duke University Health System policies and procedures
