  1. Assist optometrists in providing eye care services to patients.
  2. Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.
  3. Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  4. Take accurate patient history and perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity and refractometry.
  5. Educate patients about their eye health and assist in selecting appropriate eyewear.
  6. Maintain inventory of eyewear and order new supplies as needed.
  7. Clean and maintain eyewear and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
  8. Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed.
  9. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance verification.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and superiors.
  12. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  13. Continuously update knowledge of optometry practices and procedures.
  14. Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.
  15. Work collaboratively with the optical team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In An Optometry Or Ophthalmology Setting

  • Knowledge Of Basic Optical Procedures And Equipment, Including Lensometry And Frame Adjustments

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously In A Fast-Paced Environment.
