- Assist optometrists in providing eye care services to patients.
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Take accurate patient history and perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity and refractometry.
- Educate patients about their eye health and assist in selecting appropriate eyewear.
- Maintain inventory of eyewear and order new supplies as needed.
- Clean and maintain eyewear and equipment, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and insurance verification.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and superiors.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Continuously update knowledge of optometry practices and procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.

Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In An Optometry Or Ophthalmology Setting
Knowledge Of Basic Optical Procedures And Equipment, Including Lensometry And Frame Adjustments
Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously In A Fast-Paced Environment.
