
Patient Service Associate
At Duke University Health System, we are looking for a Patient Service Associate who can provide exceptional customer service to our patients. Our ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing outstanding service. The Patient Service Associate will be responsible for managing patient visits, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage and collecting copayments. To be successful in this role, the Patient Service Associate must possess strong customer service and communication skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a customer service role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making our patients feel welcome. Responsibilities: -Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and efficient manner -Schedule patient appointments according to established guidelines -Verify patient insurance coverage -Collect patient copayments -Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries -Manage patient accounts and medical records -Provide exceptional customer service to patients and ensure their satisfaction -Maintain patient confidentiality at all times -Assist with other tasks and duties as needed
