
Physical Therapist
Duke University Health System is seeking a physical therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a motivated and compassionate individual with a strong commitment to providing quality care and support to our patients. The physical therapist will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans for individuals with physical limitations or impairments.The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, as well as a valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of North Carolina. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is able to build strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate should have a genuine desire to help patients improve their quality of life and functional abilities through physical therapy interventions. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for individuals with physical limitations or impairments • Build strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals • Utilize evidence-based physical therapy interventions to help improve patients’ quality of life and functional abilities • Maintain and update patient records to document progress and outcomes • Participate in patient, family, and team meetings to discuss progress and concerns • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines • Participate in research and/or training activities as necessary • Remain up-to-date on the latest physical therapy treatments and techniques
Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy
Current License To Practice Physical Therapy In North Carolina
Knowledge Of Physical Therapy Principles And Practices
Knowledge Of Anatomy
Physiology And Kinesiology
