
Speech Language Pathologist
The Duke University Health System is seeking an experienced, service-minded Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The role of Speech Language Pathologist is a critical one, providing treatment and support for patients with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SLP to join our dynamic team who is committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of North Carolina. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to work collaboratively with other disciplines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work with a diverse population of patients, are essential. A passion for providing the highest level of patient-centered care is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Provide treatment and support to patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Utilize excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients and other disciplines.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.
- Educate and support patients and their families.
- Maintain licensure requirements.
- Remain up-to-date on current trends in speech-language pathology.
- Participate in clinical research and publications.
Master's Degree In Speech Language Pathology
Certificate Of Clinical Competence In Speech Language Pathology (Ccc-Slp) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Nc Licensure As A Speech Language Pathologist
At Least Two Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting
