
Help Desk Technician
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Help Desk Technician to join the DXC Technology team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to our customers, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain our high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, as well as a friendly and respectful attitude towards customers. To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma and at least two years of experience in a help desk role. You must also demonstrate a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and hardware. In addition, the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, as well as a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service, are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities: • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting to customers in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services. • Diagnose and solve technical issues related to computer systems, networks, and hardware. • Maintain customer service standards and ensure customer satisfaction. • Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel. • Document all help desk interactions in service records. • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on customer inquiries. • Update customer profiles and log all customer service activities. • Maintain a high level of knowledge about computer systems, networks, and hardware. • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service by delivering high quality service. • Prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Follow company policies and procedures.
