- Provide compassionate and high-quality patient care in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Assist physicians with procedures and exams, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for patients.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
- Educate patients on medication instructions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety and infection control.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing insurance information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
- Promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Assistant In An Internal Medicine Setting.
Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems And Experience With Documentation.
Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
