Job Description

Are you a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) looking for a challenge and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of heart transplant patients? Emory Healthcare is seeking an experienced NP or PA with a passion for heart transplant care to join our team.In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients by performing comprehensive assessments and developing care plans to ensure their physical and emotional wellbeing. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and coordinate with external providers to ensure continuity of care.To be successful in this role, you must have a Master’s degree in Nursing or a Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program, as well as at least two years of experience in a heart transplant setting. You must be a licensed NP or PA in the state of Georgia and have a strong commitment to patient-centered care. You must also possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and demonstrate a strong work ethic.If you are passionate about heart transplant care and have the qualifications we seek, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality care to heart transplant patients by performing comprehensive assessments and developing care plans.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and coordinate with external providers to ensure continuity of care.
  3. Possess a Master’s degree in Nursing or a Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program.
  4. Possess a license as an NP or PA in the state of Georgia.
  5. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  6. Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  7. Demonstrate a strong work ethic.

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Clinical Np/Pa Experience In Cardiac And/Or Transplant Care

  • Working Knowledge Of Cardiac And Transplant Pathology

  • Ability To Provide Care For Adult Cardiac Patients
