We are looking for a Patient Access Engagement Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare and provide an incredible patient experience. The Patient Access Engagement Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for patients when interacting with the organization. This includes communicating with patients over the phone, via email, and in person. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and have a customer-centric approach to problem solving.To be successful in this role, you will need: -At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role-Excellent communication and organizational skills -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Ability to effectively multi-task -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite -Outstanding interpersonal skills If you believe you possess the skills and qualifications necessary for this role, we welcome you to apply. Responsibilities:

  1. Greet and engage patients in a polite, professional manner upon their arrival.
  2. Ensure a seamless patient experience by proactively addressing any potential issues or concerns.
  3. Establish and maintain effective communication with patients via phone, email, and in person.
  4. Collect, review, and process patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Assist patients with any questions or concerns they may have regarding their care or services.
  6. Act as a liaison between patients and other departments within the organization.
  7. Maintain patient records, documents, and other necessary information in accordance with relevant regulations.
  8. Monitor and evaluate patient feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  9. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create reports, presentations, and other documents.
  10. Stay up-to-date on changes in patient access policies and procedures.
