Job Description

We are currently seeking an organized and compassionate Patient Access Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to effectively navigate multiple systems. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment. The Patient Access Representative will be responsible for performing all patient-related registration functions in an accurate and timely manner. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all patient information is accurate and up-to-date, and that all documents are properly filed.

Responsibilities of a Patient Access Representative:

  1. Greet and register patients in a courteous and timely manner.
  2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient information in all systems.
  3. Ensure all documents are properly filed and stored.
  4. Collect and verify patient information including insurance and contact information.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
  6. Follow established protocols for patient registration and data entry.
  7. Provide assistance to other staff members as needed.
  8. Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
  9. Comply with all HIPAA regulations and other related standards.
  10. Assist with other tasks as assigned.
