
PRN/ ED Technician

- Provide excellent customer service by warmly welcoming patients and their families to the Emergency Department.
- Assist in the triage process by obtaining and recording vital signs, chief complaints, and medical history of patients.
- Support healthcare professionals by stocking and maintaining inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and efficiently, following established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality care to patients.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in emergency care.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Emergency Department leadership team.
Current Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Or Paramedic.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Emergency Department Or Urgent Care Setting.
Proficient In Basic Patient Care Skills, Including Vital Signs, Wound Care, And Splinting.
Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
Willingness To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays.
