PRN Ultrasonographer

In addition to possessing ARDMS certification in ABD and OB/GYN, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The PRN Ultrasonographer must also be proficient in operating various ultrasound imaging modalities and able to produce high-quality images. Responsibilities:

1. Perform ultrasound imaging tests on patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
2. Follow patient safety protocols and maintain a safe environment.
3. Produce high-quality images and accurately document test results.
4. Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
5. Maintain knowledge of applicable techniques and procedures related to ultrasound imaging.
6. Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
7. Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
8. Participate in continuing education activities to stay current on best practices.
