Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiology Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Radiology Or A Related Field Is Required For The Position Of A Radiology Assistant At Emory Healthcare. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In Radiological Sciences And Can Perform The Duties Of The Job Effectively.

  • Certified Radiology Technologist (Crt) Certification: Emory Healthcare Requires That All Radiology Assistants Hold A Current Crt Certification. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The National Standard For Radiological Technology And Has A Comprehensive Understanding Of The Field.

  • Prior Experience In A Clinical Setting: Candidates For The Radiology Assistant Position At Emory Healthcare Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Radiology Department. This Experience Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Equipment And Procedures Used In A Radiology Department And Can Adapt Quickly To The Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Radiology Assistants At Emory Healthcare Work Closely With Patients, Radiologists, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For The Job. The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients And Colleagues, As Well As Work In A Team Environment, Is Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Radiology Equipment And Procedures: A Thorough Understanding Of Radiology Equipment And Procedures Is Essential For A Radiology Assistant At Emory Healthcare. This Includes Knowledge Of X-Ray, Ct, Mri, And Ultrasound Machines, As Well As The Ability To Perform Routine Maintenance And Troubleshooting.
