Job Description

  12. Serve as a resource for patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
  13. Follow all safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  15. Remain up-to-date on current trends and best practices in emergency nursing.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: Candidates For The Rapid Response Registered Nurse Position At Emory Healthcare Must Possess A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Georgia.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: As A Rapid Response Nurse, The Ability To Assess And Intervene In Critical Situations Is Crucial. Therefore, Candidates Must Hold Current Certifications In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Acute Care Experience: Due To The Fast-Paced And High-Pressure Nature Of The Job, Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably In An Emergency Or Critical Care Unit.

  • Critical Care Experience: Candidates With Experience Working In A Critical Care Unit, Such As The Icu Or Er, Will Be Given Preference. This Experience Demonstrates The Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations And Make Quick, Critical Decisions.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Rapid Response Nurse, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Work As Part Of A Team Is Essential. Candidates Must Possess Strong Communication Skills And Be Able To Collaborate With Others To Provide The Best Possible Care For Patients.
