Registered Nurse, Mother Baby

Emory Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse, Mother Baby to join our team and provide compassionate care for our patients and families. Our ideal candidate is an experienced Registered Nurse who takes a patient-centered approach and is committed to delivering the highest quality of care. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.To qualify for this role, you must have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in labor and delivery. In addition, you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate mother and baby patient care plans • Provide compassionate care for patients and families • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills • Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team • Maintain current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia • Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in healthcare • Demonstrate ability to remain organized, efficient, and detail-oriented • Monitor patient progress and document care in medical records • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians • Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and self-care
