  1. Provide direct patient care: The Registry Patient Care Technician will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, and feeding.
  2. Monitor patient comfort and well-being: It will be the responsibility of the Registry Patient Care Technician to closely monitor the comfort and well-being of patients, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe environment: The Technician will be expected to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stored.
  4. Assist with patient mobility: The Registry Patient Care Technician will assist with patient mobility, including helping patients to move and turn in bed, as well as helping them to walk and use the restroom.
  5. Document patient information: The Technician will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information, including vital signs, intake and output, and any changes in patient condition.
  6. Communicate with healthcare team: The Technician will serve as a valuable member of the healthcare team, communicating regularly with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  7. Provide emotional support: Patients may be going through a difficult time, and the Technician will be responsible for providing emotional support and empathy to help patients feel at ease and comfortable.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols: The Technician will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including infection control, to ensure the safety of patients and fellow healthcare professionals.
  9. Collaborate with other team members: As a team player, the Technician will collaborate with other team members to provide the best possible care for patients, and assist with tasks as needed.
  10. Continuously improve skills and knowledge: The Technician will be responsible for continuously improving their skills and knowledge in order to provide the highest quality of care for patients. This may include attending training sessions or workshops as required by the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: A Valid And Current Certification As A Patient Care Technician (Pct) From An Accredited Program Is Required For This Position. This Demonstrates The Individual's Knowledge And Skills In Providing Direct Patient Care, Including Basic Nursing Skills, Vital Signs Monitoring, And Patient Assistance.

  • Previous Experience: Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting Is Preferred For This Role. Candidates With Experience In A Similar Position Or As A Nursing Assistant Or Medical Assistant Will Be Given Priority.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: All Registry Pcts Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association. This Indicates A Candidate's Ability To Respond To Medical Emergencies And Perform Cpr If Needed.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role. The Pct Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals, So The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Collaborate With Others Is Crucial.

  • Flexibility: Registry Pcts Must Be Willing To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays. They Should Also Be Able To Adapt To Changing Work Environments And Patient Needs, As They May Be Assigned To Different Units Or Departments As Needed.
