We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to patients in the ED setting. The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with other ED nurses and physicians, while delivering compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care. The ideal candidate should possess a valid nursing license, at least two years of experience in an acute care setting, and excellent communication and organizational skills. The RN should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize patient care. The RN should also be comfortable working in a team-oriented setting and have a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) in Emory Healthcare's Emergency Department (ED) team:

  • Ensure delivery of compassionate, efficient, and evidence-based care to patients in the ED setting
  • Collaborate with other ED nurses and physicians to provide the highest quality of care to patients
  • Prioritize patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Utilize organizational and communication skills to effectively manage patient care
  • Work in a team-oriented setting with a strong commitment to patient safety and satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Maintain current knowledge of best practices and developments in the field of emergency nursing
  • Document patient care and progress accurately
  • Adhere to protocols for emergency situations and patient triage
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide other treatments as ordered by physicians
