
Speech Language Pathologist
Ernest Health is looking for an experienced and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist who can provide comprehensive care for our patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech pathology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with patients to help them achieve better outcomes.This role requires a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and a valid state license. Preference will be given to those with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and prior experience in a clinical or rehabilitative setting.At Ernest Health, we value our Speech Language Pathologists and the work they do. Responsibilities of a Speech Language Pathologist:
-Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients
-Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients improve their communication and swallowing skills
-Provide counseling and support to patients and their families
-Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
-Document patient progress and outcomes
-Maintain current license and certification
-Participate in continuing education programs to stay up to date on best practices
-Keep abreast of new and emerging treatments for communication and swallowing disorders
-Provide patient education and resources to promote better outcomes
-Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations applicable to Speech Language Pathology
Ability To Work Independently
Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology
Asha Certification
At Least Year Of Experience In A Clinical Setting
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Medical Terminology
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills
Proficiency In Computer Programs (E.g. Microsoft Office
