- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government and public sector clients, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring their needs are met.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients in navigating complex challenges and making informed decisions.
- Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of financial statements, processes, and controls to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Lead and coordinate assurance engagements, ensuring timely and quality delivery of services in accordance with professional standards and client expectations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and compliance requirements for government and public sector organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement tailored solutions for clients, leveraging data and technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices, and share knowledge and insights with colleagues and clients.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth and development.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, showcasing expertise and promoting the firm's services.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Develop A Team.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Designation.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Public Accounting, Preferably With A Focus On Government And Public Sector Clients.
Strong Knowledge Of Government Accounting Standards And Regulations, Such As Gasb And Omb Circulars.
