
Events Radio Producer
Create and manage game day/event production schedule for all on-site and in-studio production staff. Discuss and communicate performance feedback with broadcast talent and Bristol production team. Conduct pre-broadcast meetings with entire team to discuss all relevant storylines, sales reads/features and production execution. Create detailed rundowns for all studio programming before, during or after live events. Include topics and specific timings for all segments as well as copy for all live sponsored reads. Review all in-show audio and all relevant game/event storylines with studio talent. Prepare all live interview questions with studio talent. Compile all necessary production elements—i.e. copy, audio—to cover news outside of our game/event but relevant to event audience. Produce content-driven features that emphasize creative audio usage and fast pacing.
A minimum of 4 years in commercial production and a minimum of 4 years working at a network or local radio facility.
Strong knowledge of multiple professional and collegiate sports including MLB, NBA, NFL, College Football and College Basketball.
Flexibility to transition from game or event sites to Bristol studio settings, including occasional network talk show assignments as needed
