We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Exelon team. As our Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of Exelon’s networks, systems and data. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a passion for security, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a willingness to stay up-to-date on the latest security trends.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, plus 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity or related role. In addition, you must have experience with security infrastructure such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, encryption, and vulnerability management. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of Exelon's networks, systems, and data.
- Monitor and analyze system security logs and intrusion detection systems in order to detect and respond to cyber threats.
- Identify security risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
- Proactively assess system vulnerabilities and recommend preventive measures.
- Prepare reports on security findings and recommends corrective measures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the security of systems, networks, and data.
- Maintain and administer security infrastructure such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO, and COBIT.
