
Office Coordinator - Oncology
Exeter Hospital is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to provide support to our Oncology department. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and is eager to learn and grow with our team. If you have a strong customer service background and a commitment to helping others, we want to hear from you!The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, as well as at least two years of experience in an administrative role. They must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have the ability to handle confidential information and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Additionally, we are seeking someone with strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Oncology department, including scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and preparing reports.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems, including patient records and other confidential documents.
- Communicate with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Manage office equipment, such as computers, printers, and phones.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Oversee the ordering and inventory of office supplies.
- Respond to inquiries from other departments, physicians, and staff.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff and visitors.
- Ensure that all office procedures are followed and that the office is running efficiently.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite
