- Develop and implement innovative UI/UX solutions for our financial data and analytics products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing designs.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve our products' usability and user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design to ensure our products remain competitive and user-friendly.
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs and maintain design consistency throughout the product.
- Collaborate with product managers to define and prioritize features based on user needs and business goals.
- Continuously review and improve the UI/UX design process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers, providing feedback and support to help them grow.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to share design ideas, progress, and solicit feedback.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design guidelines, standards, and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools in UI/UX design to enhance our design process and output.
- Act as a UI/UX design advocate, promoting the value of good design and user-centered approach throughout the organization.
Extensive Experience In Ui/Ux Design: A Senior Ui/Ux Engineer At Factset Should Have A Strong Background In User Interface And User Experience Design, With A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Relevant Experience.
Proficiency In Design Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, And Invision, And Have A Strong Understanding Of Design Principles And Best Practices.
Knowledge Of Front-End Development: The Role Requires A Deep Understanding Of Front-End Development Technologies, Including Html, Css, And Javascript. Experience With Front-End Frameworks Such As React Or Angular Is Also Preferred.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Ui/Ux Engineer Should Have Excellent Problem-Solving Skills And Be Able To Think Creatively To Find Solutions To Complex Design Challenges.
Team Management Experience: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Ui/Ux Designers And Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Product Managers, And Stakeholders. Previous Experience In Team Management Is Therefore Highly Desirable.
