
Collections Associate II

- Conduct timely and effective collection calls to clients with outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update client information as needed.
- Utilize various collection techniques, such as negotiation and payment arrangements, to secure payments from clients.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Work closely with other departments within the company to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
- Provide regular updates on collection progress and escalate any issues or concerns to management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection processes and increase efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance standards related to collections.
- Handle sensitive or difficult client interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team collection goals.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Continuously strive to meet or exceed collection targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Collections Or Accounts Receivable, Preferably In A Financial Services Or Banking Industry.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Debt Collection, Including The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (Fdcpa) And The Fair Credit Reporting Act (Fcra).
Strong Understanding Of Credit And Collections Principles, Including Credit Risk Assessment, Payment Plans, And Negotiation Tactics.
Proficient In Using Collections Software And Systems, With Experience In Fis Collections Platforms Being A Plus.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Customers And Internal Stakeholders To Resolve Delinquent Accounts.
