Head of US Regulatory Legal

Fidelity National Information- FIS is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head of US Regulatory Legal to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal counsel and guidance to our US based business units on all regulatory and compliance related matters. We are looking for a professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to handle complex legal matters.The ideal candidate for this position will have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school as well as 10+ years of experience in a legal environment with a focus on regulatory and compliance matters. You should also possess an in-depth understanding of relevant US state and federal laws and regulations, as well as an ability to explain complex legal concepts in simple language. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to US based business units on all regulatory and compliance related matters.
2. Maintain and update knowledge of relevant US state and federal laws and regulations.
3. Explain complex legal concepts in simple language to internal stakeholders and external counsel.
4. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external counsel to deliver legal advice and ensure compliance.
5. Monitor changes in regulatory and compliance related laws and regulations.
6. Analyze and interpret legal documents.
7. Identify and address potential areas of legal risk and compliance violations.
8. Prepare and review legal documents and contracts.
9. Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
10. Manage and oversee external legal counsel when necessary.
