- Collaborate with development and operations teams to plan, coordinate, and execute the release and deployment of new IT services and updates.
- Conduct thorough analysis of release requirements and create detailed release plans and schedules.
- Utilize ITIL processes and methodologies to ensure successful and efficient release and deployment of IT services.
- Develop and maintain release management policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Perform risk assessments and identify potential issues or roadblocks in the release process.
- Communicate with stakeholders and teams to provide status updates and address any concerns or issues.
- Monitor and track release progress and provide timely reports to management.
- Coordinate and facilitate release review meetings to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the release and deployment process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in ITIL and release management.
Knowledge Of Itil Framework: A Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Itil Framework, Specifically In The Areas Of Release And Deployment Management. They Should Be Well-Versed In The Best Practices And Processes For Managing The Release And Deployment Of It Services.
Experience With Fis Systems: Since This Role Is Within Fis, A Leading Provider Of Technology Solutions For The Financial Industry, It Is Important For The Candidate To Have Experience Working With Fis Systems. This Includes A Strong Understanding Of Fis's Release And Deployment Processes And Tools.
Project Management Skills: The Itil Release & Deployment Management Analyst Specialist Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously, So Strong Project Management Skills Are Essential. This Includes The Ability To Create And Manage Project Plans, Track Progress, And Communicate Effectively With Stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge: In Addition To Understanding The Itil Framework, The Candidate Should Also Have A Strong Technical Background. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Operating Systems, Databases, Networks, And Other Technical Components. They Should Also Have Experience With Automation And Scripting Tools.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Working Closely With Various Teams And Stakeholders, So Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are A Must.
