Mainframe Support

Fidelity National Information- FIS is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Mainframe Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in mainframe support and possess the ability to effectively manage concurrent support requests.The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills as well as a customer service-oriented attitude. They should possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should also be organized and detail-oriented in order to effectively manage multiple projects.Required qualifications include:• 5+ years of experience in mainframe support• Knowledge of IBM Mainframe systems, including z/OS and related software• Experience with system backup and recovery• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in a timely manner• Strong communication and customer service skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Experience with scripting, automation, and system monitoring

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support for IBM Mainframe systems, including z/OS and related software.
2. Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues.
3. Perform system backups and recovery.
4. Develop and maintain scripts, automation processes, and system monitoring tools.
5. Respond to customer service inquiries in a timely manner.
6. Collaborate with other team members on projects and tasks.
7. Ensure timely completion of projects and tasks.
8. Stay up to date with the latest mainframe technology and best practices.
9. Identify and implement process improvements.
10. Provide training and support to other team members.
