At First Horizon, we are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who possesses excellent analytical and communication skills. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for conducting thorough financial analysis and assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients. To be successful in this role, you should have a sound understanding of risk management principles and financial analysis tools.The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and at least two years of experience working in a banking or financial institution. In addition, you should have knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments. You should also be able to make sound decisions that are based on a thorough analysis of financial data. The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients is essential for this role. Responsibilities:

Conduct financial analysis and assess the creditworthiness of potential clients.
Utilize financial analysis tools and risk management principles to make sound decisions.
Monitor and analyze financial markets and financial instruments.
Prepare comprehensive reports on the financial health of clients.
Evaluate financial data to determine the optimal course of action.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Maintain up-to-date records of credit analysis and financial data.
Remain abreast of new developments in the banking and finance industry.
Help develop and implement strategies to manage risk and improve financial performance.
Provide guidance and support to junior analysts.
